BELGRADE, August 1, 2023 – Penta Ge.Co. Construction is the contractor for the reconstruction of Building B, which houses the renowned Blue Hall, a trademark of the Sava Center.
After years of experience and a series of successful projects with Delta Real Estate, Penta Ge.Co. Construction has been given the opportunity to participate in one of the most significant projects in this part of Europe. The reconstruction of the Sava Center will be led from the perspective of the contractor for Building B.
"Working on such a project represents a unique challenge for our teams, but we believe that through collaboration with the Delta Real Estate team, we will find the most suitable response, innovative methods, and techniques that will be integral parts of new case studies in the construction industry," said Aleksandar Mijatović, project manager of Penta Ge.Co. Construction.
600 Workers on the Construction Site
Currently, there are up to 600 workers on the entire construction site, with between 130 and 150 under the supervision of Penta Ge. Co. Construction working on Building B.
"In order to meet the agreed deadline and ensure high standards of workmanship, we expect that the number of workers under our jurisdiction will increase to around 300 by the end of the year, covering various specialties," Mijatović said.
Deadline: First Half of 2024
The Sava Center will open its doors to visitors in November 2023, with the business-commercial zone and more than 40 state-of-the-art conference rooms being put into operation.
According to the planned schedule, the completion of works on the building housing the Grand Hall is expected in the first half of 2024.
