BELGRADE, March 22, 2024 - The first phase of construction of the new residential and business complex "Lastavice Blok 58" in New Belgrade is nearing completion. The construction of the eastern wing with 233 residential units and 36 business apartments began in March 2022, with the architectural design being a collaborative effort between the Czech studio Hlavaček & Partners and the Belgrade-based ZAP bureau. The investor is the renowned Czech company "UDI - Urban Developers and Investors," which has selected Penta Ge.Co. Construction as the general contractor.
The "Lastavice Blok 58" complex will occupy two plots in New Belgrade's Block 58, near the "Delta City" shopping center and the "Belville" neighborhood. The project consists of two corner buildings with a total of 424 residential units and 68 apartments, along with ground floor commercial spaces. Both buildings are oriented towards each other, forming an 'L' shape. The total area of both buildings is 69,100 m2, including three levels of underground garages and storage rooms. The buildings comprise nine typical floors and one setback floor (3G+GF+9+F). The most common units on the floors are two-and-a-half-room and three-room apartments, with a certain number of three-and-a-half-room apartments.
Facade works are nearing completion, and preparations for the first buyers are underway. Following the successful completion of the Square 43 project, the "Lastavice - Blok 58" complex represents the second mixed-use complex constructed by Penta Ge.Co. Construction.
